The latest film by Naomi Kawase, the author of the cinematic hit "Cherry Blossom and Red Beans" is a romantic, but artistically fulfilled "cinema about the cinema" or Japanese melodrama played in the environment of filmmakers.

Misako describes passionately with objects, feelings and the world around them. She is an audio reporter, she creates subtitles for films, then passed on to auditory people who are blind or visually impaired.

During one of the projections the girl meets the famous photographer, Masaya, whose sight is irreversibly deteriorating.
